Hot, warm conditions compared to previous vintages saw harvest commence in early January. This resulted in optimum fruit ripeness of excellent quality from well-managed blocks.

WINEMAKING NOTES
Machine harvested and tank fermented with C19 yeast, lightly pressed to 15% new oak to continue fermentation, where it was left on lees for 8 months and stirred every 2 months. Bottled in December 2022 producing 160 dozen.
TASTING NOTES
Pale straw yellow in color with lifted bright yellow fruits and tropical candid pineapple aromas. This bright and youthful reserve chardonnay displays crunchy stone fruit flavors of nectarine and white peach, and a soft buttery creamy mouth feel of vanilla from the oak influence.
